Google has announced that they are rolling out the page experience update by this Thursday. However, it will take until August until the update is fully completed.
You can see the original post on Twitter here.
As announced the page experience update will bring new signals to the google search. This includes the Core Web Vitals measure values: LCP (Largest Contentful Paint), FID (First Input Delay) and CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift). These values should be guidelines for e.g. page performance and layout shifts. Since these elements are important indicators for the user experience, Google now ensures that these are also considered more in the Google ranking.
Where can I see if my pages meet the requirements?
Google has already published and updated their tools like Pagespeed Insights and the Google Search Console. You can test your page their and get details how your site is performing and what you can optimize. We have already create a more detailed article about this topic.
